The centre is the Victorian school at Lanehead, on the A689 Stanhope - Alston road, about a mile from Killhope Leadmining Museum.

Following the success of last year's event, we are hosting another Wool Event celebrating British Wool at the North Pennines Centre, Lanehead, in Upper Weardale.

FRI 7 & SAT 8 OCT 2011
11am - 4pm


An event for farmers, spinners, felters,  knitters, weavers and wearers of British wool

Entry fee: Voluntary donation

           Spinning circle in the Yurt at Killhope (approx 1mile from Lanehead)


Raffle, with prizes including Wool Batts, Carded Wensleydale, a Gotland parcel &             a Dog Training Session.
